With the BlackBerry Priv receiving mixed response and average ratings from critics, it seems that the Canadian company isn’t planning to launch the next-gen smartphone anytime soon. BlackBerry, however, have plans in place to launch two new mid range Android smartphones in the market, if reports are to be believed. Evidently, BlackBerry is keen to bring one of its upcoming smartphones with a physical keyboard. Not just that, there’s another smartphone in the pipeline - a full touch screen monster. We still don’t know yet much about the company’s upcoming lineup, but it is apparent that BlackBerry has lost all hopes of winning over the premium segment with the failure of the Priv, which was initially projected to be its comeback vehicle.
Lenovo ZUK Z1 India Debut Confirmed?
Let’s put in this way: Lenovo has strived to maintain its momentum with a series of consecutive hits under its kitty. And now we are hearing that the K4 Note hitmaker is ready to introduce its subbrand ZUK to the Indian consumer. My Mobile has learned from multiple sources that the India launch of the ZUK Z1 will happen in coming months. We have also heard that Lenovo is considering to sell the ZUK Z1 at a price of Rs. 12,999, meaning the smartphone will be extensively promoted just like Lenovo’s other smartphones, though the official selling price was unknown to My Mobile at the time of writing. Given the fact the ZUK Z1 packs a 5.5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB RAM, we think the smartphone has enough guts to challenge the likes of the Honor 5X, Redmi Note 3 and the Galaxy J3 (2016).
