Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy A8 and the Galaxy A8+ in it’s a series. Now, the company has brought the elder sibling to the Indian shores.
The Galaxy A8+ comes with a price tag of Rs 32,990 and will be up for grabs exclusively via Amazon India, starting January 20.
In terms of the specs, the main USP of the Galaxy A8+ is the presence of dual shooters at the front, rated at 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel with front focus and supports the Samsung Live Focus which creates the bokeh effect. The rear camera stands at 16-megapixel featuring LED flash. The device also supports the Food mode camera feature.
Another highlight is the Infinity display which spans 6.0-inch and is full HD+ AMOLED in nature, with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9. The smartphone is powered by Exynos 7885 processor and comes in two RAM/ROM configurations- 4GB of RAM/32GB of ROM and 6GB of RAM/64GB of ROM, both the options expandable up to 256GB via a memory card. The Galaxy A8+ sources its power from a 3,500mAh battery and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Additionally, the smartphone is accompanied by a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, comes with IP68 certification, and supports Samsung Pay.
The Samsung Galaxy A8+ comes in Black and Gold colour options.
