Sony to launch Xperia XA2 Ultra with dual front cameras at the MWC 2018

Images of the much-anticipated Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra have now leaked online via the Chinese certification website Weibo. The images suggest that the phone would appear with dual front cameras.

The device is speculated to be a mid-range one and would launch in the Barcelona mobile trade fair. It is a successor to the previously launched XA1 Ultra and is earlier spotted on the SIRIM certification site. The listing shows that the product with model number H4233 would be furnished with a Snapdragon chipset.

The phone will have few changes on its design like the fingerprint sensor on the rear panel and the camera is going to be different from its predecessors. The phone recently spotted on GFXBench shows that a Snapdragon 630 processor clocked at the speed of 2.2GHz would back it. Like the other mid-range phones the Xperia XA2 Ultra will also have Adreno 508GPU.

Further rumours also speculate that Sony will not include the stereo speakers this time, but instead it might include the other sophisticated speakers and will operate on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.
