Xiaomi is expected to unveil a new smartphone in its Redmi Note series, dubbed the Redmi Note 5 soon. Rumours have started to build up and the latest one hints about the possible specs of the forthcoming smartphone.
According to a Chinese site MyDrivers.com, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (which is currently in the testing phase) is expected to be powered by the future Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 mobile platform clocked at 1.8GHz, which is expected to launch soon.
The alleged smartphone is likely to come with a bezel-less display, rated at 5.99-inch with an aspect ratio standing at 18:9. The device is likely to come equipped with 4GB of RAM, however, the internal storage configuration is still not known. On the camera front, the smartphone is expected to feature dual rear cameras, rated at 12-megapixel, however, there is no word on the front camera. Furthermore, the smartphone could be priced at CNY 1,599 (around Rs 15,630).
Additionally, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to have an elder sibling, dubbed the Redmi Note 5 Plus, speculated to come with upgraded specs.
