The phone looks like all the feature phones with keypad and a display at front side of the device. The path for the sound to come out is also at the front side of the device. There is VGA selfie camera as well at the front. The head or the top of the device is sporting flashlight which is basically to make the device a preferable choice in rural areas. The bottom of the device is having the USB port and the 3.5mm headphone jack. At the back there is the 2 MP rear camera and the Micromax logo. The logo is also at the front side of the device. The SIM holders are beneath the battery and you basically have to remove battery to put your SIM cards and microSD card. The battery is removable in nature. The phone supports dual micro SIM cards and the 4G Indian band network. The connectivity also includes Wi-Fi option, GPS, and Bluetooth as well.

The display size of the phone is 6.09 cm which is 2.4 inch screen. The phone has QVGA screen which has resolution of 320 pixels horizontally by 240 pixels vertically. The colours produced by the screen are good and basically good enough for a feature phone. One can watch clear videos and view images which have decent colour texture.

The new Bharat A1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor which is to keep the phone processes steady and to keep the battery from getting heated up while performing any task. The processor of the device is supported by the ROM of the device which is of 512 MB. The RAM does decent work together with processor. While using any fig sized application the phone do tangles up little bit. The internal storage of the phone is of 4 GB and allows you to store multiple apps and media and the storage can further be expanded further with the placement of SD card. The phone is offering a great deal of performance in its processor and the users won’t have any complaint because in a feature phone it is the best which one can get.

The Bharat 1 has a selfie camera as well of 0.3 megapixel which at its price range did reasonable decent piece of work. Although you cannot have a crispy and sharp selfie but you can have a selfie atleast. There is 2 megapixel rear camera and it also clicks decent pictures. The phone has kept in mind all the trending aspects which nowadays any smartphone usually possesses.

The phone has a removable battery of 2,000 mAh which is relatively a powerful battery for feature phone. The battery lasts for long and let you to use it for a longer periof of time. In a single charge it can last throughout the day. The charging is also rapid as the charger quickly transfers charge via its cable. The device at sometimes do heat up but not to that much extent where it could become noticeable and be a major of concern.

The phone is priced at 2,200 Indian rupees and it is doing justice with its price tag as it provides you 4G and an offer from BSNL to make you utilize the 4G feature phone. Overall the phone delivers great performance and for a feature phone with 4G it is making everybody to get connected with each other at a much faster speed. The best part is that it’s not locked to just one service provider like its immediate competitor Jio but it has to face some difficulties with Airtel-Karbonn bundled phone.
