6G Services by the end of 2030, claims PM Modi

India has come a long way in the past many years since Narendra Modi became its prime minister with many ups and downs but technological advancements have been too large to keep count.

5G services will be out in India during the latter half of 2022 with Modi claiming that preparations are in full swing to bring 6G services by the end of the 2020s and this statement was met with immense positive response at the Smart India Hackathon 2022 Grand Finale that he attended.

Ashwini Vaishnav, Telecom Minister in the Union Cabinet, has hinted that 5G services might be rolled out by October 12, 2022 although earlier it was September 29, but one needs to wait for a few more weeks until official reports come out.

PM Modi attended the function via video conferencing where he spoke about 5G and 6G services regarding their time of release and also welcomed Indianized solutions for entertainment and gaming.

Mr. Vaishnav has assured that 5G services will be available not only in metropolitan cities but also extreme rural areas in the next few years and they would be both accessible to one and all and affordable as well.

India’s biggest telecom giants like Reliance Jio, Adani Data Network, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone are the highest bidders for the 5G service and they want to make sure that they can provide everything for the users’ convenience in both rural and urban areas.
