The renders suggest a Leica-tuned quad camera setup at the rear arranged on a large square-shaped island.
The leaked image shows the Upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 in a Black shade, though the phone is likely to debut in other colourways.
A Weibo user (via @yabhishekhd) posted alleged renders and a retail box shot of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 on the Chinese social media platform showcasing the handset’s design.

The new images reveal the internal display and rear design of the foldable phone, which is said to be thinner and lighter than the MIX Fold 2 from last year.
Rumours are rife that Xiaomi’s next launch event will be held on August 16th, 2023.
Apart from launching the MIX Fold 3, the said event is likely to see the arrival of three other devices, such as the Redmi K60 Ultra, the Redmi Pad 2, and the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max.
Xiaomi president Lu Weibing recently confirmed that the MIX Fold 3 smartphone will debut this month in China.
Ahead of the foldable phone’s launch, an alleged image of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 box has leaked online.
Separately, more images of the MIX Fold 3 showing the foldable phone’s design have also been leaked.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 design via live shots
The first set of images shows the box of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 and its front design.
The images were posted on Weibo, and shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on Twitter.
The front design shows a tall display for the MIX Fold 3 with the punch-hole selfie camera on top and buttons on the side.
The other set of images were also shared on Weibo, and these show the back design and the display inside when the MIX Fold 3 unfolds.
Based on these images, the upcoming Xiaomi foldable will have a leather finish at the back.
It will also come with four rear cameras powered by Leica.
The MIX Fold 3 unfolds to offer a large display running MIUI OS.
There’s no visible punch-hole camera either suggesting an under-display sensor for selfies.
In comparison to its predecessor, the MIX Fold 2, the design seems almost similar but with changes in the camera module.
The live shot of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 reveals an inner screen that is free from a punch-hole camera cutout.
This is because the device is reportedly featuring under-screen camera technology like the Galaxy Z Fold series from Samsung.
The other image gives a good look at the rear design of the phone, which appears to have a leather back.
The reflective camera module on top has four cameras, Leica branding, an LED flash, and some other sensors.
The squarish design of the fourth camera reveals that it has a periscope zoom camera.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 specifications
According to reports, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will have an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED QHD+ display on the inside and a 6.5-inch cover AMOLED FHD+ display.
Both screens are anticipated to offer a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the MIX Fold 3’s rear camera setup will offer a Sony IMX800 OIS-equipped primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto camera providing 3.2x optical zoom, and a periscope zoom camera delivering an impressive 10x optical zoom capability.
The MIX Fold 3 is said to run on MIUI Fold 14.1-based Android 13. It is said to be equipped with an overlocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, capable of reaching speeds up to 3.36GHz.
It will also pack a substantial 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 512GB / 1TB UFS 4.0 storage options.
It may house a 4800mAh battery, with 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The foldable will debut in China, and it will most likely stay exclusive here.
