Realme 12 Pro comes with a robust optical setup. The main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX 882 sensor with a 26mm equivalent focal length and an f/1.8 aperture.
It supports OIS, which contributes to the excellent focusing capabilities and fast shutter speeds that I experienced during daylight photography.
The phone also features a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto sensor with a 47mm equivalent focal length and an f/2.0 aperture.
It supports OIS and 4X In-sensor Zoom (ISZ).
This telephoto lens is a key feature of the phone, offering a 2X optical zoom that can go up to 6X.
The 8MP ultra-wide camera has a 16mm equivalent focal length and an f/2.2 aperture.
AI features and other camera functionalities, along with the filters and shooting modes, which added to the overall camera experience.
In terms of low-light photography, the Realme 12 Pro performs as well as one could expect at this price point.
The night mode is a highlight, adding good details to images, even though the colours are sometimes more saturated than I would like.
In low-light situations, the telephoto and ultra-wide lenses do not perform as well as I would like to enhance the quality.
Finally, the 16MP selfie shooter does its job well, providing detailed selfies and satisfactory video calls.
