iPhone 16e – Durability Test

The screen scratches at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale with deeper grooves appearing at level 7, standard for modern smartphones. The frame is aluminium, the buttons are metal and the speaker grilles have mesh to help prevent water from getting inside.

The back panel is glass, and when exposed to an open flame for about 20 seconds, the screen’s pixels turn white. However, after a reboot, the damage is barely noticeable.

The most important test is the bend test and it proves that the iPhone 16e is solid. It doesn’t bend, no matter which side you press from.
