There are many methods to send a message without actually saving their number on your smartphone. Here’s how to send messages to unsaved numbers without adding contact
Method 1
Step 1: Open your smartphone’s browse
Step 2: Type this link in the address bar
Step 3: Now, you’ll need to enter the phone number along with the country code in the place of ‘xxxxxxxxxx’, so if the number you want to message is +919912222222, you will be required to type
Step 4: Once you have entered the details, tap enter to open the link
Step 5: Now, you’ll see a WhatsApp webpage with the recipient’s number you have entered and a green message button. Tap the button and you’ll be redirected to WhatsApp where you can start the conversation
Method 2
Step 1: Download the Siri Shortcuts app
Step 2: Open the app, tap on the Gallery option which is on the bottom right
Step 3: Add any shortcut you like and run it once
Step 4: Once done, go to Settings > Shortcuts > enable Allow Untrusted Shortcuts
Step 5: After all this, open this link on your iPhone and tap the ‘Get Shortcut’ button to download it
Step 6: You’ll be redirected to the Shortcuts app. Hit the button ‘Add Untrusted Shortcut’
Step 7: Look for the WhatsApp to Non Contact shortcut in the ‘My Shortcuts’ tab
Step 8: Now, enter the recipient’s number along with the country code and you’ll be redirected to WhatsApp with a new message window open
Method 3:
If a person sent a message in a common group, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Head to the group’s contact details and select the number
Step 2: Tap and hold the message sent by a person you want to text
Step 3: Click ‘More’ and select ‘Reply Privately’
Step 4: This will start a new chat with the person
Method 4:
Step 1: Go to your iPhone’s settings and tap ‘Privacy’
Step 2: Click on the ‘Contacts’ and switch next to it to disable. If the switch is green, contacts access is enabled. If it’s not green, it’s disabled
Step 3: Then, head back to WhatsApp and hit the new chat button on the top-right
Step 4: Enter a number and then select done to start a chat with it
