Realme Narzo N53 review

Design The Realme Narzo N53 has a very attractive back panel but the overall build is similar to other budget phones in this segment. We have the Feather Gold colour variant which shimmers under light. The phone is also very light in hand as it weighs 182 grams.

Hardware The Realme Narzo N53 features the Unisoc's T612 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which is further expandable. It can easily handle day-to-day tasks and run low end games without issues. However, the device will lag under high intensity tasks like heavy gaming or multitasking.

Software The Realme Narzo N53 runs on Realme UI T-edition which is based on Android 13. The device contains a lot of bloatware. You don't get a lot of customisation options but the software skin does a decent job.

Display The Realme Narzo N53 has a 6.74-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The brightness levels are decent for mild outdoor usage under sun. It also has Widevine L3 support for HD streaming on OTT platforms.

Rear Camera The Realme Narzo N53 has a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP macro camera sensor. The images captured are acceptable but lack colour accuracy and detailing has an over processed dynamic range. The low-light images aren't that great either. However, the software processing keeps the noise levels down in the low lighting conditions.

Front Camera The Realme Narzo N53 features an 8MP front camera. It manages to take decent pictures but has an extra amount of facial retouching applied to the images.

Battery The Realme Narzo N53 has a 5,000mAh battery. The devices not-so-heavy performance gives it a decent battery life. In PCMark's Battery life test the device resulted in 16 hours 19 minutes, which is a very good benchmark.

Charging The Realme Narzo N53 supports 33W fast charging. It takes up to two hours for the device to go from 0 to 100 percent
