Apple usually reserves at least one colour option for its iPhone devices, which it unveils mid-season (5-6 months before the launch of its next lineup). Following the tradition, the brand has now launched an all-new Yellow colour variant of its iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus devices. The new Yellow colour for the iPhone 14 devices joins an already extensive list of paint jobs available (midnight, starlight, (PRODUCT) RED, blue, and purple) and will soon start selling in the market. The Pro models, however, have not been provided with the same treatment, and it looks like Apple might not be releasing a new colour option for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone14 Pro Max devices anytime soon. Nevertheless, let’s take a look at the new Yellow colour variant of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus devices.

iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus New Yellow Colour Option

As seen in the image above, this is what the new Yellow colour option for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus devices looks like.

The new Yellow colour iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus devices retain the usual pricing, and will sell for a starting price of Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900, respectively.

Interested buyers will be able to pre-order the new colour option in India and other countries starting tomorrow, i.e March 10th, 2023.

The devices will be available starting March 14th, 2023.

Plus, as far as accessories are concerned, the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus will now have four new official covers – canary yellow, olive, sky, and iris.

iPhone and the Environment

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are designed to minimize their impact on the environment, including antenna lines that use upcycled plastic water bottles that have been chemically transformed into a stronger, higher-performance material.

In addition to featuring a re-architected internal design that offers improved repairability, iPhone 14 models also use 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets, including those in MagSafe, and 100 percent recycled tungsten in the Taptic Engine.

Both models also include 100 percent recycled tin in the solder of multiple printed circuit boards, and 100 percent recycled gold in the plating of multiple printed circuit boards and in the wire of all cameras.

Fiber-based packaging does not use outer plastic wrap, bringing Apple closer to its goal of completely removing plastic from all packaging by 2025.

Today, Apple is carbon neutral for global corporate operations, and by 2030, plans to be 100 percent carbon neutral across its entire manufacturing supply chain and all product life cycles.

This means that every Apple device sold, from component manufacturing, assembly, transport, customer use, charging, all the way through recycling and material recovery, will have net-zero climate impact.

Availability & Colours of iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Yellow Colour Variant

This Friday, March 10, at 5 a.m. PST (6:30 p.m. IST), customers in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Korea, the U.K., and more than 60 other nations and regions will be able to pre-order the yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, with availability starting on Tuesday, March 14.

Emergency SOS via satellite and Find My via satellite are currently available in Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, the U.K., and the U.S., and will be available in Austria, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Portugal later this month.

The service will be included for free for two years starting at the time of activation of a new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

Customers who purchase iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will receive three free months of Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness+ with a new subscription.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Silicone Cases will be available in four new colours: canary yellow, olive, sky, and iris.

iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus Yellow Colour: Price in India

Previously , iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 plus models were available in five different colours – Blue, Midnight, Purple, Starlight, and (Product) RED.

However, the new addition of the Yellow colour option has expanded the range.

Both models come with three storage configurations – 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. In India, the starting price for the base model of the iPhone 14 is Rs. 79,900, while the iPhone 14 Plus starts at Rs. 89,900.
