Apple released the last iPhone SE model in early 2022 and since then we have been constantly hearing about the next model.
Last week, the famous Japanese blog Macotakara known for revealing dummy unit images of upcoming iPhones released a set of new images of iPhone SE 4 dummy units.
According to more latest reports, the next iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch sometime in 2025 while the mass production will begin in December this year.
Previous rumours suggested that the low-cost iPhone is expected to offer some major upgrades on the current iPhone SE 3.
However, there weren’t any concrete details about the iPhone SE 4 from any reliable sources.
This now changes since one of the trusted leakers on X (earlier Twitter) leaked almost the entire spec sheet of the upcoming iPhone SE 4, leaving online Apple fans in a frenzy.
According to tipster Jukanlosreve, the iPhone SE 4 is now confirmed to arrive sometime in March 2025 with a price tag higher than the current model.

According to the latest leak, Apple’s upcoming low-cost smartphone iPhone SE 4 will feature a 6.06-inch OLED screen. This is significantly larger than the 4.7-inch display of the current SE 3.
The phone will come with a notch at the top for Face ID and the front camera. The refresh rate, however, remains at 60Hz.
Powering the new SE will be Apple’s A18 chip, the same processor used in the base and Plus versions of the iPhone 16. This will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
This memory is a massive upgrade compared to the 4GB RAM of SE 3. Moreover, it will also enable the SE 4 to support Apple Intelligence features, which need at least 8GB RAM as configuration criteria.
Jukanlosreve’s post also revealed that the iPhone SE 4 will debut Apple’s first in-house modem, code-named Centauri, manufactured by TSMC.
This shows a shift away from third-party modems and could improve connectivity and efficiency.
For photography, the SE 4 will keep a single-camera setup.
It’s most likely getting a major bump in quality upgrading from a 12MP to a 48MP sensor for sharper photos. The front camera, on the other hand, will remain at 12MP.
The phone is expected to pack a larger 3279mAh battery, a significant increase from the 2,018mAh capacity of SE 3.
It will come with 20W fast charging but will also support MagSafe accessories for added convenience.
