The main difference between the two is in the selfie camera, while the Camon 40 Pro gets a 50MP front camera, the standard Camon 40 comes with a 32MP sensor. On the back, both phones share a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a depth sensor. The Camon 40 Pro 5G brings 5G connectivity to the lineup by swapping in a Dimensity 7300 SoC, but everything else, including the design, battery, and display, remains the same. Under the hood, the Premier model is powered by the Dimensity 8350 chip and packs a slightly smaller 5,100mAh battery, but with 70W fast charging. The camera setup houses three 50MP cameras, covering wide, ultrawide and 3x optical zoom shots, with OIS on the main sensor. The front camera also features a 50MP sensor with autofocus.
