World’s most influential tech event – the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 – officially starts today, that is, January 5, 2022, and no pandemic is going to hold it back. While the CES 2021 was entirely virtual, things looked brighter for CES 2022 as it will be a hybrid event that will include both livestreams and physical showfloor with major tech companies confirming their presence.
According to the official website, there will be over 2,200 exhibitors in attendance, with representation from the likes of Samsung, Nvidia, Sony, LG, and many more. They will showcase the latest in digital health, food tech, automotive tech, NFTs, gaming, smart home and more. CES 2022 Dates
CES 2022 is taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 5, 2022 to January 7, 2022, with Media Days took place on January 3 and January 4, 2022. Originally, the show was scheduled to go on until January 8, however, the organizers dropped that day as an additional safety measure due to the surge of Covid-19 cases.
The opening CES 2022 keynote address will be on January 5 at 8:30 a.m. PST/11:30 a.m. EST. the same day, the show floor will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST. On January 6 and January 7, the show floor will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

How to watch CES 2022?
To attend the CES 2022 remotely, there is a digital venue registration option that grants access to certain presentations and lets you interact with a number of exhibitors. However, this is primarily intended for use by the media and those affiliated with the technology industry. Luckily, select parts of the show will be available to watch for free. You will be able to watch all the press conferences’ live streams from the CES YouTube channel.
CES 2022: Safety Measures
CTA is taking all the essential steps to make CES 2022 safe for the attendees. The organisation is requiring the attendees to get tested for Covid-19 24 hours prior to boarding their flight for Los Angeles. Also, it is requiring the attendees to show proof of vaccination for attending the show. Additionally, the organisation has asked the attendees to get tested 24 hours prior to arriving at a CES 2022 venue for which it is providing them with complimentary testing kits.
