Now recent reports suggest Apple is bringing the same privacy feature to the A18 chip-powered iPhone 16. Secure Exclave is designed to enhance user privacy. According to the 9to5Mac report, the new SIL mechanism is also present in the A18 chip that powers all iPhone 16 models. It is important to note that this Secure Exclave is different from the long-standing Secure Enclave, earlier used in Apple devices since the iPhone 5s to protect sensitive data like fingerprint information.
