Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Leaks Reveal Improved Camera and Less Visible Crease

With all the hype circulating about Samsung’s new foldable flagship, several leaks have been coming out revealing some key improvements in the Galaxy Z Fold6.

Among the most prominent changes will be a reworked camera island and a much less pronounced crease on the internal display.

The popular tipster Ice Universe has posted an interesting image, which allegedly reveals the Z Fold6’s revamped camera setup and it looks a bit unlike its predecessors.

However, it is watermarked “Galaxy AI,” which means the picture was either made or edited using Samsung’s AI editing tool.

Therefore, unless officially confirmed by sources, we think that this leak should be handled with care.

According to another report, the Z Fold6 is said to offer a narrower crease since Samsung will be using a 50µm Ultra-Thin Glass layer; up from 30µm in previous generations.

This little tweak is, therefore, expected to make the crease a lot less visible, even though it will further improve the whole folding experience.

Galaxy Z Fold 6: Expected Specs

Rumours have it that Samsung has more in store for the Z Fold6 series, so there is the possibility that an “Ultra” variant is in store.

This top-model is supposed to come with advanced features, such as Samsung’s latest 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor, seen in the Galaxy S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra.

That said, the leaked image that supposedly shows the Z Fold5 is believed to be of the standard Z Fold6 since both variants are said to have similar camera hardware.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 chipset, depending on the region.

Samsung will present the new foldable lineup, the AI-driven Galaxy Ring wearable, and three Galaxy Watch7 editions in a glittering presentation on July 10 in Paris.

With speculations hinting at a redesign of the device, increased durability, and next-gen imaging capabilities, the upcoming flagship may firmly uphold Samsung’s leadership in the foldable revolution as the launch nears.
