Since Apple let go of its iPhone mini variant, the dearth of compact smartphones with premium features on store shelves has become even more evident. Look around and there are only a couple of options that offer up-to-date smartphone specifications in a compact body.
The latest to join this small size parade is probably Google Pixel 7, a device that comes in compact dimensions, sports amazing premium features and is available at a comfortable price range. The only device that can give competition to this would arguably be Xiaomi 12 which has also managed to carve a niche in the compact smartphone segment.
Google Pixel 7 has a very original design with a rarely seen horizontal camera module. The handset looks premium with great built quality. While Google Pixel 7 price in the market currently is around Rs 59,999, Xiaomi 12 price is relatively competitive with its market price of Rs 43,490.
