POCO is reportedly going to launch its POCO X5 Pro 5G smartphone very soon in India.
The device will most likely launch in the country by month end or in early February. Ahead of launch, the next POCO X-series smartphone has been spotted by leaked images which went viral online. India cricketer and T20I captain Hardik Pandya has been spotted using the POCO X5 Pro 5G.

A couple of photos of the Cricketer (and the yellow POCO X5 Pro 5G device) have recently been everywhere on social media which give us the first official look at the device.
This week, Poco also announced a fan meetup for the next X-Series phone on January 22nd in Delhi, so Poco is surely planning to launch the X5 Series soon. A few websites like Alibaba and Flipkart have also started teasing the Poco X5 Series for Indian as well as Global markets.

Pandya is seen flaunting the yellow colour variant of the upcoming POCO X5 Pro 5G.
The leaked images clearly show a triple rear camera setup and the brand’s iconic dual-tone rear design with a large camera module occupying almost the entirety of the top.
The power button, which will also double as the fingerprint scanner, can be seen on the right side of the device. Unfortunately we could not see the front design & look of the upcoming POCO X5 Pro 5G as the images were taken from the side but was an interesting teaser to the final look coming soon with the launch right here.

The POCO X5 Pro 5G is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition, which launched a little while ago in China. It is speculated that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor, which might be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. POCO X5 Pro 5G will likely feature a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie snapper.

POCO X5 Pro 5G could feature a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. Lastly, we can expect the device to boot Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box.
