Chinese electronics giant Infinix is going to start a new category in its smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Infinix GT 10 Pro.
The device is set to be unveiled on August 3rd and although the company has managed to keep most of the details under wraps, it has revealed a few of the specs that will intrigue a few people.
One of the standout aspects of the Infinix GT 10 Pro is likely its display, which is rumoured to feature an AMOLED panel with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Photography enthusiasts can also rejoice, as the phone is expected to boast a formidable rear camera setup.
At the helm of this arrangement lies a 108MP primary sensor, flanked by two 8MP cameras.
In terms of the design, the Infinix GT 10 Pro appears is going to adopt the prevailing trend of featuring a punch-hole display on the front, offering a larger screen real estate without compromising on aesthetics.
Additionally, Infinix is also likely to incorporate an in-display fingerprint sensor that will not only enhances the phone’s usability but also adds a touch of sophistication to its overall look. The device is expected to be budget to mid-range offering.
Redmi 12
Xiaomi India had officially revealed the launch date of the much-awaited Redmi 12 as August 1.
Like with any of the company’s product, the device comes with a bundle of exciting features to entice smartphone enthusiasts.
Adding a touch of star power, the company has appointed the noted Bollywood actress Disha Patani as its style icon, further enhancing the anticipation surrounding the launch.
The Redmi 12’s teaser video revealed earlier showcases an Silver colour variant although there are to be more colour options as well.
The phone’s design is also revealed to have triple cutouts on the back, housing three camera sensors and an LED flash, exuding sophistication.
As per leaks the device is said to sport a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout to accommodate the selfie shooter.
It is also likely to be powered by the efficient MediaTek Helio G88 processor, coupled with the Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU.
In terms of storage options, the phone is said to come in configurations of 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card.
The phone will run on the latest Android 13-based MIUI 14 and photography enthusiasts will appreciate the phone’s camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor.

OnePlus Open
OnePlus, it seems, is finally set to launch its new foldable phone, the OnePlus Open, on August 26.
This date is not a guarantee and was revealed in a recent leak by reliable tipster.
From images that have been circulating on the internet, it would appear OnePlus has opted for a book-style folding mechanism for the OnePlus Open, much like the Galaxy Fold series.
The company remains tight-lipped about the specific features of the foldable handset, though they’ve promised a “signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience”.
The OnePlus Open is looking more and more to be a flagship contender, equipped with high-end specifications.
Leaks indicate a 7.8-inch 2K AMOLED inner display, along with a 6.3-inch AMOLED outer screen, with both potentially supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, though the specifics of the LTPO technology and minimum refresh rates remain to be confirmed.
The device’s performance is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, bolstered by a hefty 16GB of RAM.
While the leaks mention 256GB of internal storage, other options could also be in the pipeline.
The inclusion of a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging is also suggested, aligning with OnePlus’s commitment to deliver a phone that meets the high expectations of their user base.
The pricing is anyone’s guess right now but looking at market trends, it can be put in the range of above Rs 1,00,000.
Realme GT Neo 6
This particular offering from Realme will launch in China this August and a rebranded version of the phone could make it to Indian shores quite soon.
As far specs for the Realme GT Neo 6 go, it is likely going to be a budget flagship-style offering.
The GT Neo 6 5G, according to reports, is poised to launch with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage.
It’s also expected to pack a hefty 5200mAh battery with 150W fast charging support.
The smartphone can house a triple-camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary camera with OIS, potentially a Sony IMX890 sensor. It will likely also have an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens, complemented by a 16MP front camera for selfies.
Running on Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0, the GT Neo 6 5G will also include an under-screen fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster among its features.
