TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared a first glimpse at the colour options most likely to represent Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 16 series, landing this autumn.
Kuo shared his predictions for the colours that will feature on the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
Standard iPhone 16 Models to Stay Classic
iPhone 16 Colour Options Reportedly Revealed; New ‘Rose Titanium’ Variant for Pro Models
The basic iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will most probably use the same colour scheme as their predecessors, namely iPhone 15 series, believes Kuo.
This suggests that familiar colours, like black, green, pink, and blue, will probably be back again.
There’s one big change coming, though: Kuo thinks the current pale yellow option will be replaced with something he calls “white,” which might be Apple’s “Starlight” tint, a whiteish-gold colour.
Titanium Tones for Pro Models
Kuo expects that Apple will retain the “Natural Titanium,” “Black Titanium,” and “White Titanium” options found on the iPhone 15 Pro models for the higher-end iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
But there’s a catch: the current “Blue Titanium” colour may be axed.
Replacing it might be a new “Rose Titanium” option, giving warmth to the Pro lineup colour palette.

Kuo’s colour predictions might point to the fact that the overall exterior look of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models won’t differ significantly from the predecessors.
Still, some new rumours suggested that Apple could be aiming to change the display sizes across the entire iPhone 16 lineup.
If the rumours prove correct, the base iPhone 16 will stay with the 6.1-inch display, whereas the Plus would stick with its 6.7-inch screen.
