According to the grapevine, iQOO is already gearing up for the release of its next-generation Neo10 series in China.
Although the exact launch timeline is not known yet, online tech enthusiasts believe the brand may announce the handset by the end of this November in China.
Here’s everything we know based on recent leaks and rumours.
Recently, popular tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) shared new details about the Neo10 including its design, display specs and battery.
iQOO Neo10 Series – Design and Display
According to DCS, the iQOO Neo10 series will feature a 6.78-inch flat display with thinner bezels and a smaller punch-hole for the front camera, creating a clean and immersive viewing experience.
The rear camera module has also been redesigned, adding a textured, decorative finish for a more premium look.
The Neo10 series is expected to include software enhancements from the iQOO 13 such as improved display quality, touch responsiveness and new animations thanks to the Android 15-based OriginOS 5.
As for design, DCS recently posted a mysterious render of an upcoming phone without revealing the name. Many tech enthusiasts online were quick to note the similarity between the mysterious render and the previously shared image by DCS.
In a separate post on Weibo, DCS also revealed battery details of both the iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro along with design details including its weight.
iQOO Neo10 series – Specification (Expected)
The Neo10 recently passed its 3C certification, based on which many reports assumed that its launch may not be too far off.
Reports suggest that the standard Neo10 model will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro model could feature the Dimensity 9400.
This is an upgrade from the previous Neo9 series, which ran on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chips. Both Neo10 models are expected to support 120W super flash charging.
As mentioned above, the battery life is also getting a boost with a rumoured 6,100mAh battery, which is a substantial upgrade over the 5,160mAh capacity in the Neo9 series.
The Neo10 is also rumoured to come with a Goodix ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for quick and reliable unlocking.
On the camera side, the Neo10 series is expected to feature a 16MP front camera and a dual rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor and an additional 50MP lens.
The primary sensor is slightly smaller than the one on the Neo9 Pro, but the improved image processing in both new processors may offset this difference.
Digital Chat Station also suggests that the Neo10 series will be competitively priced. While the iQOO 13 is expected to start at 3,999 yuan, the Neo10 could offer flagship-level features like the SuperComputing Chip Q2 at a more affordable price.
