Smartphone brand iQOO is planning to unveil the iQ0O Z7 smartphone in India as a successor to the iQOO Z6.
However, ahead of that, several leaks and rumours have appeared about the upcoming smartphone that has hinted at the design and some key specifications of the iQ00
Z7.
The Indian variant of the smartphone has now appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench, indicating that it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset and at least 8GB of RAM.
iQOO is all set to launch the iQ00 Z7 in the Indian market. As per the announcement, the iQ0O Z7 will launch on March 21 in the country and will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor.
The company is also prepping up to launch the iQOO Z7 series in China which will consist of iQ00 Z7x and iQ00 Z7.
The iQOO Z7 Chinese variant is expected to be different compared to the iQOO Z7 Indian variant.
Ahead of the iQOO Z7 India launch, we have now spotted the upcoming iQOO Z7x on the Geekbench benchmark database. The benchmark listing for the device reveals some of its key specifications.

iQOO Z7 Geekbench Score
The iQOO Z7x made an appearance on the Geekbench 5 benchmark database with the model number V2272A. The handset managed to score 677 points in the single-core round of the test.
Whereas, in the multi-core round, the score was recorded as 1929 points. The iQOO Z7x Geekbench listing reveals that the device will come pre-loaded with Android 13.
The iQOO Z7x Geekbench listing suggests that the handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with the codename Holi.
The system processing unit on the iQOO Z7x will include 2 cores that are clocked at 2.21GHz each.
Whereas, the remaining 6 cores are clocked at 1.80GHz. The listing further reveals the iQOO Z7x will be equipped with an Adreno 619 GPU. Based on this it appears that the iQOO Z7x will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor.
Also, as per the listing, the iQOO Z7x will come in a 6GB memory configuration. However, we can expect the company to launch it in other memory options as well.
iQOO Z7 Specifications (Expected)
The iQOO Z7 will likely feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company’s CEO, Nipun Marya, the smartphone will include 44W flash charge technology, which will likely charge the smartphone from 1 per cent to 50 per cent in around 25 minutes.
The upcoming smartphone is said to come with a 5,000mAh battery.
Meanwhile, a recent hands-on video revealed that the upcoming iQOO Z7 would have a front-facing waterdrop notch display.
The power and volume buttons are also visible on the right side of the smartphone. A rectangle camera module with a dual camera setup and an LED flash can be seen on the back panel.
The Norway Blue colour made the device appealing with its changing colours and rounded corners. However, it will also come in a Pacific Black colour option. Meanwhile, the iQOO Z7 has an AMOLED screen with a built-in fingerprint scanner.
According to the video, the display has a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, which is very bright.
