Lenovo has launched its first-ever gaming tablet, the Lenovo Legion Tab.
This is the first gaming tablet introduced by any company in India.
The company said that the android tablet has been specifically designed for gamers and is aimed at bridging the gap between PC and Mobile gaming.
Commenting on the launch, Ashish Sikka, Director and Category Head, Lenovo India, said: We are thrilled to introduce the Lenovo Legion Tab to the Indian market for the very first time. This launch further diversifies our portfolio of Lenovo gaming devices, ensuring that we have something for every type of gamer, from desktops and laptops to handhelds and now, tablets. This incredible tablet is designed to bridge the gap between PC and mobile gaming, by offering a high-performance gaming experience that is both accessible and convenient.
Jagjeet Harode, Vice President – Electronics at Flipkart, shared his excitement about the launch, noting that India’s gaming industry is growing rapidly, with increasing demand for high-performance, portable devices. Harode said that the Lenovo Legion Tab fits perfectly with Flipkart’s mission to offer cutting-edge products that cater to the diverse needs of tech enthusiasts and gamers.

The Lenovo Legion Tab comes in Storm Grey colour, is priced at Rs. 39,999 and will be for purchase from 15th August 2024 from Lenovo.com and Flipkart.
The e-commerce website Flipkart started accepting pre-orders for the tablet in July.

The Lenovo Legion Tab features an 8.8-inch QHD+ display, making it a portable and powerful option for gaming on the go.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X memory.
The onboard storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The tablet weighs just 350 grams and is 7.6mm thick, making it lightweight and easy to carry.
Lenovo Legion Tab is packer with a 6550mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.
The battery unit is claimed to deliver up to 12 hours of playback time on a single charge.
It measures 7.6mm thick and weighs 350 grams.
It features Lenovo’s Legion ColdFront vapor thermal solution, which helps keep the tablet cool during intense gaming sessions.
The device offers three performance modes—Beast Mode for maximum frame rates, Balanced Mode for a mix of performance and battery life, and Energy Saving Mode to extend battery life during long gaming sessions.
The tablet’s 8.8-inch QHD+ Lenovo PureSight display has a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth and vivid visuals.
With a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, the display delivers sharp and vibrant images.
The tablet also includes an integrated haptic system that provides tactile feedback for an immersive gaming experience.
There is DisplayPort 1.4 for connecting to external displays, and it comes equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E for faster connectivity.
It supports face unlock feature.
The tablet has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The tablet features 13MP main camera and a secondary 2MP macro shooter, while on the front, there’s an 8MP selfie snapper.
