After rumours and teasers, motorola has confirmed the launch of Moto G14, the company’s next budget G Series phone in India on August 1st. It has also revealed the specifications and design of the phone.
After unveiling its flagship Razr 40 flip phone series in India this July, Motorola is readying to give its affordable Moto G lineup a refresh in the Indian market.
The brand launched the Motorola G13 4G in March and now the Motorola G14 is coming to the country on August 1st.
A teaser page on Flipkart revealed that it will go on pre-bookings on the same day and confirmed the upcoming smartphone’s design and specs.

Motorola G14 Teased on Flipkart: Details
The new Motorola G14 is giving up on the Mediatek Helio G85 processor in favour of a Unisoc T616 SoC.
A 6.5-inch FHD+ display is making a comeback along with dual stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos.
The device will start with a 4GB RAM variant and up to 1TB microSD UFS 2.2 storage.
A 50MP main sensor is present in the dual camera camera setup.
Motorola has promised a music playtime of 94 hours thanks to a 5,000mAh battery pack. You can charge it at up to 20W speed.
The phone will come preinstalled with Android 13 and Motorola is guaranteeing an update to Android 14 and 3 years of security patches.
The phone will come in two colour options – Blue and Black.
A side fingerprint sensor is present to unlock the device while a software-based face recognition can also be set up.
A feature that budget users will like on the Motorola G14 is dual SIM support. An IP54 rating will ensure enhanced durability against water damage.
Moto G14 Specifications
The Moto G14 will have a 6.5-inch LCD FHD+ punch-hole display. Powering the device will be an Unisoc T616 chip, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It will also have a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage expansion.
The Moto G14 will run on Android 13. It is confirmed to receive the Android 14 OS upgrade and receive security updates for up to three years.
It will be equipped with a sizable 5,000mAh battery, that supports 20W fast charging for quick power top-ups.
The phone promises a talk time of up to 34 hours, a music playback time of 94 hours, and 16 hours of video playback. For audiophiles, the G14 will come with dual stereo speakers supported by Dolby Atmos technology.
In terms of photography, the Moto G14 will feature a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, enabling users to capture high-quality images.
It will offer photography features, such as Macro Vision and Night Vision.
Additionally, it will come with a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a feature that provides added convenience.
For added durability, the Moto G14 will have an IP52-rated body, offering some level of water and dust resistance to withstand everyday usage.
