Moto G45 5G Launched in India 

Following the recent releases of the Moto G85 and the Moto G64, Motorola has now launched another G-Series smartphone – the Moto G45 5G in India.

Available in three striking colour variants – Brilliant Blue, Viva Magenta, and Brilliant Green, Moto G45 5G price in India starts at Rs 10,999 before launch offers.

As Motorola unveils its budget G-series 5G smartphone, we got our hands on the device for an early sneak peek.

 There is no doubt that design is where Moto G45 5G stands out at first glance.

• The soft tactile vegan leather finish gives the phone a classy and elegant feel.
• The phone is extremely lightweight, weighing just 183g.
• On top of that, the boxy body with curved corners makes the G45 easy to hold and use. The edges are not curved but they are not cut too sharp either.
• One-hand operation shouldn’t be a problem.
• The camera module design is also a plus. It is neat and well-integrated into the back The best part is the module doesn’t have any lens’ poking out.
• The module is almost flat and you wouldn’t even notice it from afar. We love this design choice as it gives the entire phone a very elegant look.
• The volume rockers and side-mounted fingerprint sensor cum power button are located on the regular right-hand side.
• And you have the SIM tray on the top left side. There is a Type-C port (USB 2.0) at the bottom along with a 5mm headphone jack and speakers.
• The build quality is solid for the price.
• You also get an IP52 rating, so you don’t have to worry about limited dust ingress and minor water spray.

Moto G45 5G – Display is Immersive

At first glance, the Moto G45 5G’s display impresses.

The 6.5-inch display Moto G45 5G immediately catches the eye.

The generous screen size with almost uniform size bezels makes everything from scrolling to watching videos feel immersive.

The HD+ resolution (1600 x 720) isn’t the sharpest, but for a phone in this range, it does a decent job.

The 120Hz refresh rate is a nice surprise for this segment.

 It adds a noticeable smoothness when navigating through the phone.

Swipes and transitions are fluid.

The colours and brightness are what you’d expect from an IPS LCD.

The good viewing angles and decent outdoor visibility add up.

But the punch of an OLED is what is missing on a screen this big.

Moto G45 5G – Processor Gets The Job Done

Moto G45 5G features the Snapdragon® 6s Gen 3 octa-core processor.

While processing power can only be analysed after thorough use, our first impression is positive.

The performance is noticeably snappy.

The apps open quickly and switching between them is smooth.

With frequencies reaching up to 2.3GHz, the phone handles daily tasks like a breeze.

The octa-core setup ensures that multitasking doesn’t slow the phone down.

We didn’t notice any lag or stuttering during our initial use.

Overall, at first glance, the G45 5G seems to be fast and responsive.

Moto G45 5G – Camera Has Striking Balance

The Moto G45 5G boasts a 50MP Quad Pixel camera along with a 2MP macro fixed focus sensor.

The main camera is decent and delivers sharp, detailed photos, especially in good lighting. 

The 16MP selfie shooter, at first glance, appears more than capable of capturing clear and well-lit selfies.

The camera system also packs in a bunch of other handy features like Night Vision, which brightens up low-light shots, and Slow Motion for capturing those action-packed moments.

Other camera features include Time Lapse and Photo Booth among many others.

These features can be fun to use and also add a few options for creativity to your photography.

Overall, the Moto G45 5G’s camera system offers a versatile setup that definitely punches above its weight.

The Moto G45 5G’s battery is one of the strong points of the phone.

Our first impression is that Moto G45 5G delivers a well-rounded experience, especially for its price range.

The 6.5-inch display, while not the sharpest with its HD+ resolution, offers smooth and responsive performance thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance-wise, the Snapdragon® 6s Gen 3 processor handles tasks with ease, offering a snappy and responsive experience.

The camera system is another highlight, with a 50MP Quad Pixel main camera that captures detailed and vibrant photos.

The 16MP selfie camera is equally impressive.
