Netflix India is all set to have a December full of entertainment. The streaming platform has scheduled four originals for the month (excluding the one little birdie noticed on the Netflix international listing even though the India platform hasn’t confirmed its arrival yet). Let’s see what all to expect from the streaming service this December.

The month will kick start with a pre-Independence psychological drama, Qala starring Triptii Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee, and Babil Khan in pivotal roles. Schedule to be released on December 1, 2022, The show focuses on the life of a rising playback singer in the Indian film industry and they cope with the part and parcel of success. The official Netflix synopsis reads, “Haunted by her past, a talented singer with a rising career copes with the pressure of success, a mother’s disdain and the voices of doubt within her.”

Another anticipated release in the month of December on Netflix would be the Randeep Hooda starrer series CAT. Hooda is essaying the role of a former police informant who somehow finds himself thrown “back into the world of drugs and investigations” in CAT. The thrilling Netflix original series is scheduled to release on December 9. Apart from Hooda, the series will also have Suvinder Vicky and Hasleen Kaur in primary roles. CAT is directed by filmmaker Balwinder Singh Janjua who previously directed “Saand Ki Aankh.”

However, even before CAT hits your devices, Netflix is releasing a bunch of exciting content. Some of the most anticipated shows to come out before December 9, 2022 include Kartiki Gonsalves’ short nature documentary The Elephant Whisperers. This surrounds “a south Indian couple who devote their lives to caring for an orphaned baby elephant.” To be out on December 8 on Netflix, The Elephant Whisperers isn’t the only documentary that we are excited about.

Another Indian documentary, that avid Netflix subscribers must be waiting for, Indian Predator is also returning to the streaming platform with its fourth edition. Beast of Bangalore: Indian Predator is scheduled to release on December 16, 2022.

With so much content to choose from, let’s not forget about the biggest International Netflix originals that are scheduled for a December 2022 release. Yes, its time to brace yourself for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, which will mark the return of Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc. To be released on December 23 on Netflix, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is written and directed by Rian Johnson. Benoit Blanc is heading to Greece this time to solve another thrilling murder mystery.

Moreover, who can forget Emily Cooper? No one, really.

Arguably one of the most anticipated international Netflix series to make a comeback on the streaming platform in December is Emily in Paris. The series is coming for its third season and will hit the screens on December 21, 2022. Apart from everything that there is to be excited about Emily in Paris, Lily Collins’ getting bangs is probably at the top.
