Apple’s grand annual launch event has concluded and reactions have been pouring in from all corners. While many experts and Apple fans have been sharing conflicting opinions, everyone unanimously missed Watch Ultra 3.

Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported in October that Apple hadn’t started developing the Ultra 3. He also predicted its release wouldn’t happen in 2024.
Kuo’s prediction was spot on. The only news related to the Ultra during Apple’s event was a new satin black finish for the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Kuo now suggests that the Apple Watch Ultra 3, along with a revamped Apple Watch SE, will be launched in 2025.

While the exact timing remains unclear, Apple typically unveils new Watch models with the latest iPhone lineup in September.
This suggests we may have to wait until fall 2025 to see the new Ultra and SE.
Some reports also suggest that Apple could also plan to a release new SE model in the spring of 2025. If this turns out to be true, we will likely get the new Apple Watch SE alongside the expected iPhone SE 4 launch at that time.
The lack of updates to the current SE model made many Apple fans predict that the SE could debut sooner.
