OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is launching in China on August 16th and ahead of that, the company has confirmed some key specifications, including the display and battery of the upcoming smartphone.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro display specifications, battery size, and charging capabilities have been officially confirmed.
The phone, which is set to launch on August 16th, 2023, is the company’s third Ace 2-branded phone after the Ace 2 and Ace 2V that went official in the first half of this year.
The Ace 2 features the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, whereas the Ace 2V is equipped with the Dimensity 9000. The upcoming Ace 2 Pro will arrive with the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

OnePlus has confirmed that the forthcoming Ace 2 Pro will have a 6.74-inch flexible OLED display. The company ensures that it will source the BOE Q9+ screen with a 1.5K resolution.
The display will have a pixel of 2772 × 1240, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a pixel density of 450 PPI, and a peak brightness of 1600 nits.
OnePlus will also equip the display with 1.07 billion display colours and HDR10+ certification.
The display will also have an ultra-narrow bottom bezel of 2.17mm.
OnePlus also confirms that the display will have 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, which makes it suitable for low-light usage.
The forthcoming smartphone also gets TUV Rheinland global eye protection certification.

OnePlus has also confirmed to equip the Ace 2 Pro smartphone with a large 5000 mAh battery.
The smartphone will be equipped with 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging tech.
OnePlus claims the smartphone can charge from 0 to 100 in 17 minutes.
The company also confirms the presence of a dedicated SUPERVOOC S power management chipset.
The dedicated power management chipset will ensure the battery is durable for four years or 1600 charging cycles.
OnePlus claims that the battery life of its upcoming Ace 2 Pro smartphone is similar to other flagship smartphones.
The company also adds that it will ship the smartphone with a GaN charging adapter.

OnePlus confirms the GaN charger will support 45W PD charging and dual USB Type-C output.
The company also adds that smartphones and chargers support UFCS’s fast-faring protocol, making it compatible with third-party UFCS charging adapters.
