OnePlus Nord 3 5G has been a part of the rumour mill for quite some time and is easily the most-anticipated OnePlus phone to launch.
The handset will arrive as a successor to the Nord 2 from last year.

Now, while we wait for the announcement, tipster Yogesh Brar has shared the phone’s key specifications and also tipped to launch timeline and Nord 3 price in India details. This gives us a clear indication of what to expect when the phone lands.

Separately, in another leak, the OnePlus Nord 3 alleged live images have surfaced online, showing the entire design of the phone in full glory, probably for the first time.
However, the source of the leak may not be completely legit and the image we see belongs to the Chinese variant.

OnePlus is rumoured to launch its new Nord series smartphone soon in India. The company has launched the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G as its most affordable smartphone in India. There will be an upper mid-range smartphone launching soon in the form of the Nord 3 5G.

The phone is expected to launch as a rebadged version of the OnePlus Ace 2V in China. OnePlus has not confirmed any details about the launch of the Nord 3 5G at the time of writing this.

Meanwhile, the phone has been spotted on the Geekbench website ahead of any official launch confirmation.

The listing on Geekbench confirms some key details about the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone.

OnePlus Nord 3 5G Geekbench Listing Reveals Key Specifications

    The OnePlus Nord 3 5G is expected to launch later this month or in July in        India. The phone has been spotted on Geekbench ahead of its launch.

• The Nord 3 has the model number CPH2493.
• As per the listing, the device has an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of 3.05GHz.
• It has three performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.80GHz. The SoC also features a Mali-G710 GPU.
• These details suggests that the Nord 3 5G will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
• The same SoC is found in the OnePlus Ace 2V in China.
• The Nord 3 scored 1153 and 3180 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.
• It has been listed with 16GB of RAM, which could be the highest in any Nord series phone.
• The Nord 3 5G is also listed with Android 13 out of the box.
• It will have a layer of Oxygen OS 13 on top of Android.

OnePlus to launch the phone in India and other markets with 8GB of RAM as well. The device might pack 128GB and 256GB of storage. It is rumoured that the phone will debut in India as a rebadged version of the Ace 2V but with a different camera.

The Ace 2V in China features a 64MP OmniVision camera sensor, whereas the Nord 3 in India might feature a 50MP main camera. The phone is also said to be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 32,000 in India.

Alleged OnePlus Nord 3 Live Images

The OnePlus Nord 3 live images have been shared by a Twitter user @realMlgmXyysd, showing off the complete design.
The phone looks identical to the OnePlus Ace 2V, which makes us believe the Nord 3 could be a rebrand.

While the live image shows the design completely, the source appears to be dubious as we see the Chinese variant and not the global model, so it may very well be the OnePlus Ace 2V.

The handset has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, flat edges, and narrow bezels.

Flipping the phone to the back, we are greeted with two circular modules that house triple camera sensors and an LED flash. We see OnePlus branding as well.

The power button and alert slider are on the right edge, while the volume rocker could be on the left side.
Interestingly, one of the images shows the ‘About Phone’ page of the phone.

Now, the original successor to the Nord 2 is expected to arrive in the near future with better specifications this year. It could feature either a 4,500mAh or 5,000mAh battery under the hood.

The company could provide support for a 100W fast charger considering the Nord 2T has support for 80W fast charging tech.

The mid-range phone features an AMOLED screen which will likely refresh at 120Hz and operate at FHD+ resolution. We might see a triple camera array at the back of the OnePlus Nord 3. It could include a high-resolution wide-angle sensor with support for OIS. It will reportedly offer the ability to record 4K videos.

While there are no hints on the pricing details, we expect the OnePlus Nord 3 to fall under Rs 30,000 segment. This is the price segment that OnePlus has targeted for previous versions too. If the company is planning to launch this phone in the coming months, then we should hear about them more.

3) OnePlus Nord 3 5G Listed On SIRIM; Local Launch Likely Coming.Details?

Ans) OnePlus could potentially launch a new mid-range device soon and it might be coming to Malaysia not long after the unveiling. The long-rumoured Nord 3 5G, the successor to the Nord 2, is said to be a rebranded Ace 2V but with some altered specs.

While nothing has been officially announced by the company yet, we found that the Nord 3 has already been listed on the SIRIM database with the model number CPH2493. Moreover, it has been certified no less than three times by different companies, dating all the way back to April and the most recent one was registered less than two weeks ago.
The phone itself was leaked in its entirety just last month and if it’s accurate, it should be nearly identical to the Ace 2V. It will sport a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 2772×1240 resolution, a peak brightness of 1,450 nits, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the brand will equip the phone with its signature alert slider.

Internally, it will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, although the configurations could be different when it arrives here. For connectivity, it will support 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3 as well as having an IR blaster.
The camera setup is where it will allegedly differ from its Chinese counterpart, with the primary camera using a 50MP sensor instead of 64MP along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. Powering the phone will be a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. It will also ship with OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13.

The OnePlus Nord 3 5G could come in at just under the RM2,000 mark if it follows a similar pricing structure as the Nord 2T. Since the company has not made any announcements regarding the device, we’ll have to wait to find out when the device will be available in Malaysia.
