Oppo has confirmed that the A7 Pro Max will launch in China on August 4 at 2:30 PM local time. Oppo has revealed more details about the upcoming Oppo A7 Pro Max ahead of its official launch in China. The latest teaser focuses on the smartphone’s camera capabilities with the company claiming that it features the most advanced imaging system ever introduced in the Oppo A series. Alongside the announcement, Oppo has also shared official camera samples and highlighted several key specifications of the device.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Camera Features Revealed
To showcase the camera’s capabilities, the company has released official camera samples highlighting the phone’s performance in daylight photography and portrait mode.

According to Oppo, the A7 Pro Max will offer the most capable camera setup seen on an A-series smartphone so far. The handset is equipped with 50-megapixel cameras on both the front and rear, making it one of the few smartphones in its category to feature high-resolution sensors for selfies and rear photography.
The 50-megapixel front camera supports a 100-degree ultra-wide field of view, allowing users to capture wider group selfies without needing to step back.
On the rear, the smartphone houses a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) accompanied by a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. Oppo has also introduced a new intelligent flash system, which is designed to improve portrait shots and enhance image quality in low-light conditions.
Oppo A7 Pro Max – Other Features
The Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. On the software front, the handset will run ColorOS 16 out of the box.
Oppo also claims the device has successfully passed its 72-month ageing smoothness test. According to the company, software optimisations help reduce memory usage during startup and everyday operation, allowing the phone to maintain smooth performance over a longer period.
One of the biggest highlights of the Oppo A7 Pro Max is its 10,000mAh battery, making it Oppo’s first smartphone to feature a battery of this capacity.
The large battery is paired with 80W fast charging, which should significantly reduce charging time despite the high battery capacity.
Oppo has also teased the handset’s durability by claiming it can survive direct exposure to 2,000°C rocket exhaust, highlighting the device’s rugged build.
Oppo A7 Pro Max – Colours and Storage Variants
The smartphone will be available in Wind Rider, Orange, and Black colour options.
Buyers will be able to choose from 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants.
