Oppo Find N5/OnePlus Open 2 – Even Thinner Than the iPad Pro M4
The Oppo Find N5 could be as thin as 4mm when unfolded potentially making it the thinnest foldable phone ever. For comparison, the Honor Magic V3 is currently the slimmest at 4.35mm when unfolded.
Oppo’s President of Overseas Marketing Billy Zhang recently teased the phone’s ultra-slim design on X (formerly Twitter) comparing it to the iPad Pro M4, which is already an incredibly thin 5.1mm. For context, the OnePlus Open (also known as the Oppo Find N3) measures 5.8mm when unfolded, while the rumoured Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be around 6.4mm.
I can’t believe how slim our latest foldable is.
We’ve pushed our engineering to ensure an optimal experience, folded or unfolded, and I can’t wait for users to get their hands on it next month. #OPPOFindN5 pic.twitter.com/8j0zEO2gEf

Oppo has been hyping this up for a while. Previously, they compared it to the iPhone 16 Pro Max (8.25mm thick), which is almost twice as thick!
Even Oppo’s Chief Product Officer and OnePlus founder Pete Lau called it the “world’s thinnest foldable” in a post.
Oppo Find N5/OnePlus Open 2 – Features
Apart from its sleek design, the Find N5 is expected to also sport some serious features and specifications.
Rumours suggest it will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, putting its performance on par with top-tier flagship phones. The display is said to be a 6.85-inch LTPO panel with 2K resolution and an Oppo official on Weibo hinted that the crease will be less noticeable than on the Find N3.
For photography, the phone is expected to feature a triple-camera setup with Hasselblad tuning. Leaked hands-on images also suggest a less protruding camera module than its predecessor.
Despite its ultra-thin design, Oppo isn’t compromising on battery life. The Find N5 is rumoured to pack a massive 5,900mAh battery, a big jump from the 4,805mAh in the OnePlus Open. It could also support 50W wireless charging and might even come with an IPX9 water resistance rating.
