Oppo Pad 2 has been spotted on a popular benchmarking website, hinting at the launch of the company’s next tablet. The Chinese smartphone maker launched its first tablet, the Oppo Pad, last year.
This was followed by the launch of the Oppo Pad Air. The company is reportedly working on a successor to Oppo Pad, and the purported tablet’s key specifications have now been spotted online.
While Oppo hasn’t shared any details on the same until now, the upcoming Oppo Pad 2 is speculated to launch in the coming months.
According to a report by GoAndroid, the Oppo Pad 2 is listed on Geekbench, a popular benchmarking website.
Listings for Geekbench 5 and Geekbench 6 benchmarks of the device with the model number OPD2201 suggest that the upcoming tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.84GHz and 7.34 GB of RAM.
This suggests that the tablet could be equipped with a Snapdragon 888 SoC. Additionally, the Oppo Pad 2 has scored 1,160 points in the single-core test and 3,186 in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.
However, on Geekbench 5, it has scored 899 in single-core and 3079 in the multi-core test. The listing also reveals that the Oppo Pad 2 is likely to run on Android 13– based ColorOS 13 on top.
The device will pack 8GB of RAM and support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
After launching the OPPO Pad last year, the Chinese smartphone maker is prepping to unveil the successor, OPPO Pad 2, in the coming months.
However, ahead of that, the upcoming tablet has appeared on the benchmarking platform Geekbench, which hints that the OPPO Pad 2 might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
It should be noted that the OPPO Pad was powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, and the OPPO Pad Air was launched with the Snapdragon 680 chipset.

It achieved scores of 3186 on the multi-core test and 1160 for the single-core test on Geekbench 6.
The Geekbench listing, initially spotted by GoAndroid , suggests that the OPPO Pad 2 be run by Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Chipset, which has a maximum speed of 2.84GHz and comes with 7.34 GB RAM.
It seems like the OPPO Pad 2 will likely come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset or Snapdragon 768 chipset and will run Android 13.

OPPO Pad 2 India Launch Timeline, Price (Expected)
According to a recent report ,the upcoming OPPO Pad 2 will be launched in India by March or the first half of April.
On the other hand, some reports indicate that it will be launched alongside the OPPO Find X6 series.
However, it should be noted that the company is yet to announce the launch dates officially.
In terms of price, the OPPO Pad 2 is expected to be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000.
