PlayStation India has officially launched the PlayStation Portal remote player in the country.

This new device allows gamers to play their PlayStation games without needing a TV or monitor.

The PlayStation Portal is set to hit Indian shores on 3 August, priced at Rs 18,990.

From 3 August, you’ll be able to buy the PlayStation Portal from various retailers including Sony Centres, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, and Blinkit.

However, buyers should be cautious – at the time of writing, the device was listed on Amazon India at Rs 24,520, likely for the US version.

It’s advisable to wait for the official Indian launch to get the correct pricing.
