Hideki Yasuda (Toyo Securities) estimates that the new NVIDIA chip inside the Switch 2 will cost $130-$150 per unit, compared to $80 for the original Switch’s chip. Because of this, Yasuda predicts a $499 price tag for the new console. Other analysts including Serkan Toto Yijia Zhai (UBS) and Robin Zhu (Sanford C. Bernstein) think Nintendo will aim a bit lower, predicting a $399 price point. However, they note that external factors like U.S. tariffs could push the price higher.
