The last reveal about Realme was about four Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX5000, RMX5002, RMX5010, and RMX5011.

Now, six additional models have surfaced.

The model numbers of these 6 are RMX5003, RMX5004, RMX5050, RMX5051, RMX5055, and RMX5056.

Interestingly, Realme has skipped the RMX4000 series, jumping straight from RMX3000 to RMX5000.

But this is not without reason.

The reason Realmea, a brand known for its innovative technologies and affordable products,  skipped certain numbers is a decision most likely influenced by Chinese superstition.

In China, the number 4 is considered unlucky.

This is mainly due to its pronunciation being similar to the word for “death.”

This cultural belief is also known as “Tetraphobia,” which simply means fear of 4.

This belief has led many Chinese brands including Realme’s parent company Oppo, to avoid the number 4.

The belief is so strong that most manufacturers skip the number in their product lines we well.

For example, Oppo skipped the Find X4 in favour of the Find X5.

Realme’s choice to bypass the RMX4000 series shows its cultural sensitivity.

With strong backing from its parent company, Oppo, and the wider BBK Electronics group, Realme continues to innovate and cater to tech enthusiasts with its new models.

Although there has been no official word from Realme, we can expect the brand to soon introduce these new devices in the near future.
