Recently, the company confirmed that the Redmi 12 will be arriving in Jade Black and Moonstone Silver colour options. While we wait for the device’s launch, it has now appeared on Geekbench.
The Geekbench listing details the processor, RAM information, and software version of the Redmi 12 before the August 1 launch.
Redmi 12 India Variant: Processor and RAM
The Redmi 12 India variant appeared with the model number 23053RN02I on Geekbench, the certification site.
According to the listing, the phone is going to be powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G88 processor.
The Redmi 12 will also boast of 6GB of RAM. Additionally, the listing confirmed that the phone will run on Android 13 out of the box with a layer of MIUI skin on top.
The device also produced results of 436 and 1388 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
Redmi 12 Colour Options
Redmi 12 will come in a Moonstone Silver option. However, now the company has revealed that the phone will come in two more colour options – Pastel Blue and Jade Black.
Similar to the Moonstone Silver variant, the Pastel Blue and Jade black colour option will come with a Crystal Glass finish, enhancing the appearance of this affordable device and giving it a more high-end feel.
Redmi 12 Specifications
The phone is expected to come with the same specifications as the global variant of the phone, which was launched in Thailand earlier in the year.
The device comes with a 6.79-inch display with a Full HD+ 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Additional details of display include 396 PPI pixel density, up to 550 nits brightness, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
