Xiaomi is readying for a launch spree, both globally and at home in China. After confirming the Redmi Note 12 series global unveiling schedule, the company has announced two more separate launches— Redmi Note 12 4G for India and Redmi Note 12 Turbo for China.
Of these, the Redmi Note 12 4G, which is launching in India on March 30, should be a bit more predictable as it is most likely to arrive in international markets first on March 23.
The Redmi Note 12, meanwhile, is set to launch in China on March 28. The “turbo” is expected to be the first smartphone in the world to come rocking Qualcomm’s freshly minted Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset.
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced that it is adding a new model to the Redmi Note 12 series in India on March 30th.
The smartphone in question is the Redmi Note 12 4G, and the microsite has gone live on Flipkart and the company website already. The phone was recently spotted on the Geekbench database.
On the other hand, Xiaomi has also confirmed that it will unveil the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China on March 28th at 7pm local time.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will only be sold in China, but the phone will be available in other countries, including India, under the POCO brand, as per a recent report. This won’t be the first time a Redmi phone has been rebranded as a POCO phone.
The Redmi Note 12 is all set to launch in India on March 30. The company has already announced the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ smartphone and it is now gearing up to unveil lower-end models in the series.
But, the upcoming Redmi Note series phone will be a 4G device, unlike the Pro version. Redmi will announce it during Xiaomi’s Fan Festival, which will start by the end of this month.
Ahead of the launch, the company confirmed the specifications and design of the upcoming Redmi Note 12 smartphone. Here is everything you need to know it. Redmi is claiming that its new device has a slim profile and sleek design.
The teasers show that the handset will be offered in a glittery golden colour model with a gradient finish. It is unknown whether the brand will also launch it in other color variants.
It seemingly has a boxy design. The volume and power buttons are placed on the right side of the device.
