The upcoming Redmi Turbo 4 is set to launch in China in January 2025 with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 8400 chipset. The phone was recently spotted on Geekbench listing giving a first glimpse of the Turbo 4’s performance.
MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 8400 chipset will also power the upcoming Realme Neo 7 SE, which is also scheduled to be launched in China next month. Moreover, reports have indicated that the Poco X7 Pro is going to be rebranded Turbo 4 and will also feature this new chip in the international market.

Redmi Turbo 4 With Dimensity 8400 – Performance Breakdown
Powered by the Dimensity 8400, Redmi Turbo 4 scored 1642 points in single-core tests and 6056 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench.
Compared to the Dimensity 8300, these scores surpass the Redmi K70e, which was last year’s debut device for the Dimensity 8300. However, while the multi-core performance is impressive, the single-core results leave room for improvement.
Meanwhile, the Dimensity 8400 outperforms Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (18XX single-core, 48XX multi-core) in multi-core performance. Interestingly, it lands between Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for multi-core benchmarks.
The Geekbench listing also confirms that the Turbo 4 will feature 16 GB of RAM and run on Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0.
The Redmi Turbo 4 identified with the model number 24129RT7CC was earlier cleared China’s 3C certification hinting at an imminent release.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is rumoured to launch later in 2025 boasting a massive 7,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging, according to popular tipster Digital Chat Station’s post on Weibo. DCS also revealed that the model will likely have a flat display with balanced weight and thickness.
