Samsung’s Galaxy A56 5G is getting closer to launch and new leaks have given us a detailed look at its design. We now have a 360-degree view of the phone renders that shows the big change to its camera setup. Here’s everything we know about the phone so far including the latest images.
Samsung Galaxy A56 – Image Leaks
The Galaxy A series has evolved quite a bit over the years. The A54 introduced a rounded design with smooth curves where glass meets metal, while last year’s A55 adopted a flatter frame, taking cues from the flagship Galaxy S24 series. One unique feature from the A55—a slight power button hump—seems to be sticking around in the A56 as well.
Leaked images from Evan Blass’ newsletter showcase the Galaxy A56 5G in four colour options, which include silver, pink, black and grey colours. While the official colour names aren’t confirmed, the leaks provide a 360-degree view of the phone.

However, the top and bottom of the phone remain unseen as they’ll likely house a USB Type-C port. Some reports suggest the phone will not have a headphone jack though.
One of the most noticeable changes is the new camera array design. Unlike Samsung’s previous isolated lens setup, the Galaxy A56 features a shrouded camera unit that groups all the lenses together. The reason for this change isn’t clear yet, but it could be a cost-related decision given that this is a mid-range device.
Samsung Galaxy A56 – Expected Features
The Galaxy A56 5G is rumoured to come with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display featuring a 1080 x 2400 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also expected to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, offering better resistance to scratches and minor drops.
Under the hood, the device is set to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 processor, built on a 4nm process for improved efficiency and performance. It will reportedly include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with support for microSD card expansion.
One of the biggest rumoured upgrades is the 5,000mAh battery with a significant boost of 45W fast charging. As for the camera, the Galaxy A56 is expected to feature a triple-camera system on the back including the following –
- 50MP primary sensor for high-quality shots.
- 12MP ultra-wide lens for wider landscapes and group photos.
- 5MP macro camera for detailed close-ups.
- On the front, the 12MP punch-hole camera will handle selfies and video calls.
Samsung Galaxy A56 – Launch and Pricing
There’s no official word on the Galaxy A56’s launch date yet but the leaks suggest it’s coming soon. For pricing, the A55 launched at £439 in the UK and €469 in Europe, though it wasn’t available in the US.
If Samsung maintains its pricing strategy, the A56 could be launched in the same price range.
