Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy F06 5G will launch in India on February 12. As part of the F series, this will be a budget-friendly 5G smartphone priced under Rs. 10,000. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming smartphone.
Galaxy F06 will feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. With support for 12 5G bands, the phone ensures wide network compatibility.
The phone will sport a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, there’s an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and voice focus technology for improved call clarity.
The device packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Samsung has also promised four OS updates and four years of security updates for this model.
Design-wise, the phone has flat sides and a notch display. It is listed under model number SM-E066B/DS on Samsung India’s support page. Promotional material highlights its dual cameras and sleek design, positioning it as a mix of performance and style.
The Galaxy F06 5G will be available in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colurs with 4GB and 6GB RAM options paired with corresponding storage variants. While the official price is yet to be revealed, considering its predecessor the Galaxy F05 launched at Rs 8,000, this model is also expected to be a sub-10K device.
Samsung will sell the Galaxy F06 5G via Flipkart, the Samsung India online store and select offline retail outlets. More details should emerge as the launch date approaches.
