Samsung has finally confirmed the rollout date for its long-awaited One UI 7 update. The update will start rolling out on April 7, but not all regions will get it at the same time. Samsung recently shared more details about its release schedule and some countries will have to wait a little longer.

Here’s what we know so far.

One UI 7 – Roll Out Timeline?

Samsung recently announced that One UI 7 would officially start rolling out on April 7 without a beta program. However, while the initial announcement came from Samsung Korea, the global press release clarified that “availability may vary by market.”

Further regional press releases confirmed that One UI 7 will roll out gradually rather than all at once. In South Korea, the update will start on April 7, but other countries will see delays. Here’s the official schedule so far:

  • April 7 – South Korea
  • April 10 – United States, Norway, Sweden
  • April 14 – Malaysia
  • Early April – Belgium, Netherlands

Samsung hasn’t shared a full global schedule yet, and in some countries, its Newsroom hasn’t even posted about One UI 7’s rollout.

The update will also vary by device, but according to Samsung’s US press release, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will all get One UI 7 at the same time.

  • Now Bar – Real-time updates on the lock screen for select apps (like Google Maps and Google Sports Scores).
  • AI Select – Adaptive AI when selecting on-screen content.
  • Writing Assist – Summarizes or generates text when selecting a text box.
  • Drawing Assist – Uses text and sketch/image prompts to generate images.
  • Audio Eraser – Removes unwanted sounds in videos.
  • Google Gemini Integration – Press the side button to access Google Gemini AI.
  • Natural Language Search in Settings – Users can type prompts like “my eyes are tired” to find relevant settings.

One feature that hasn’t expanded beyond the Galaxy S25 series yet is “Now Brief,” an AI-powered daily summary tool.
