The new update with firmware ending in AXL3 is small at 377MB. It focuses mainly on security and packs in the January 2025 security patch. Samsung has detailed over 50 fixes in this update, addressing critical vulnerabilities flagged by Google and Samsung. Issues with components like the Bootloader, Notification Manager and Messages app have also been resolved.
