Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan has released on Amazon Prime Video today, the movie’s official streaming partner in India.

This comes after the rather sudden confirmation from Prime Video yesterday that the blockbuster would stream on the platform starting today. Pathaan recently became the highest grossing Hindi film of all time.

Where to watch Pathaan on OTT?

YRF’s latest film Pathaan is streaming in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on Amazon Prime Video in India. Interestingly, the launch comes on a Wednesday, which is unusual given most major Bollywood movies premiere on OTT in India on a Friday.

Just to note, Pathaan is available on Prime Video as part of your Amazon Prime subscription. There is no additional rent fees to be paid for it.

Pathaan Plot

Pathaan carries forward the YRF spy universe (Tiger Zinda Hai, War) with Shah Rukh Khan now in the lead. It shows the story of this semi-retired spy who must come back in order to protect his homeland from foreign attacks.

The protagonist, named Pathaan, must take on the leader of a deadly group of mercenaries as they plan to attack India. The movie is filled with high-octane action and superb acting performances.

The movie has been made at a budget of Rs.250 crore, which is a high budget film with top Bollywood actors for which Shah Rukh Khan has taken a huge remuneration of Rs.100 crore, while his co-star Deepika Padukone has taken Rs.15 crore and John Abraham has charged Rs.20 crore.
