Sony has introduced the INZONE H9 II (WH-G910N) gaming headset in India. The second-generation model enhances several aspects of the original INZONE H9 including noise cancellation, microphone performance, wireless connectivity, and long-wear comfort. Built for both PC and console gamers, it also retains the detachable boom microphone that has been a defining part of the series. Here’s all about the newly launched headsets.
The INZONE H9 II comes with active noise cancellation and uses the same driver unit found in the WH-1000XM6 lineup. The closed-back headset features 30mm dynamic drivers and supports 360 Spatial Sound for gaming. Its detachable cardioid boom microphone is tuned to capture clear voice input while reducing environmental noise.
Sony has included a physical mute button on the headset, and the mic system supports super wideband voice. It also leverages AI-powered noise filtering to ensure clearer in-game communication.
For wireless connectivity, the headset uses a low-latency 2.4GHz USB-C transceiver along with Bluetooth 5.3. Users can run Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless modes simultaneously. Supported Bluetooth profiles include A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP, while audio codecs such as SBC, AAC, and LC3 (via LE Audio) are also supported. Sony bundles a 2.0m detachable audio cable featuring a gold-plated L-shaped four-pole mini plug.
Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours with ANC turned off. The company claims that a five-minute quick charge provides around one hour of use, while a full charge takes roughly 3.5 hours.
The headset’s over-ear, circumaural design includes onboard volume controls and dedicated switches for toggling ANC and ambient modes. Inside the box, users get a soft carrying pouch, USB-C charging cable, USB-C transceiver, headphone cable, documentation, and a warranty card.
The INZONE H9 II weighs approximately 260g without the microphone attached.
The Sony INZONE H9 II is priced at Rs. 28,990 in India.
It will be available in Black and White colour variants. Sales begin on November 22 across Amazon, Flipkart, and ShopAtSC.com.
