This hub was introduced in 2020 and it allows users to manage their connected experiences across Facebook, Instagram and Meta Quest accounts. With this integration, users will be able to do the following - Cross-post WhatsApp Status updates as Stories on Instagram and Facebook eliminating the need to post multiple times. Log in to multiple apps using a single account with the "Single Sign-On" feature, which lets you use your Facebook account to log into Instagram, for example. The new update will make cross-posting WhatsApp Status updates as Stories on Instagram and Facebook possible. Importantly, Meta reassures users that their WhatsApp messages and calls will remain end-to-end encrypted, even if they choose to connect the account. Meta is also working on expanding Accounts Center functionality. Soon, users will be able to manage additional features like avatars, Meta AI stickers and Imagine Me creations directly through the hub. The WhatsApp integration will be rolled out globally, but it could take months before it reaches everyone.
