YouTube has recently teamed up with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to support celebrities, athletes and creators in identifying content that uses their AI-generated likeness. According to TechCrunch reports, the platform will test a tool that allows professionals to request the removal of such content starting early next year. At first, the tool will be available to "leading celebrity talent including award-winning actors and top athletes from the NBA and NFL." However, as per the report, it will roll out to "top YouTube creators, creative professionals, and other leading partners representing talent" later. In the press note announcing the collaboration with CAA, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan said, "At YouTube, we believe that a responsible approach to AI starts with strong partnerships. We're excited to collaborate with CAA, an organization that shares our commitment to empowering artists and creators. This means we’re planning to increase our enforcement against videos where the title or thumbnail promises viewers something that the video doesn’t deliver,” YouTube shared in a Google India blog post. “This can leave viewers feeling tricked, frustrated, or even misled—particularly in moments when they come to YouTube in search of important or timely information,” the statement added.
