However, Kuo has recently highlighted another critical factor: Largan's significant improvement in production yield of the Tetraprism zoom cameras. This increase from 40% to 70% in yield not only makes the production process more profitable for Largan but also feasible for inclusion in the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro. The positive impact on Largan's financials, particularly the enhancement of their fourth-quarter earnings per share, is a direct result of this improved yield. Moreover, with Largan now able to produce a larger quantity of the Tetraprism zoom cameras, it is feasible for Apple to equip both models of the iPhone 16 Pro series with this advanced camera technology whereas earlier only the Pro Max was privy to it.
