Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are launching on October 4 and the upcoming pixel phones have created so much excitement for the pixel enthusiasts specially for the camera of the new pixel series . An unboxing video of the Pro model came online ahead of the official launch. Ahead of the official announcement, the Pixel 8 Pro has now been spotted on Geekbench with the Tensor G3 chip and the benchmarking scores are not as great as expected. The listing reveals the RAM specifications of the device. Google’s Tensor chipsets play an important part in image processing, these processors are well know in machine learning to produce Pixelesque images. Google Pixel 8 Pro was spotted on Geekbench, with the new Tensor G3 processor. Benchmarks suggests that Tensor G3 is a nine-core processor with three different clusters. Google Pixel 8 Pro Spotted on Geekbench The first cluster contains four cores clocked at 1.7 GHz, the second cluster has four cores clocked at 2.37 GHz, along with a single core clocked at 2.91 GHz. The Tensor G3 chipset will be clocked at a base frequency of 1.7 GHz. Pixel 8 Pro was tested on Geekbench 6.2, with a single-core score of 1,760, and a multi-core score of 4,442. The scores seem to be neither too good nor too bad. OnePlus 11 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 gets 1707 points in single-core and 4892 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench 6. Scores of Tensor G3 are better than Tensor G2, indicating performance improvement at a whole . The G3 will be powering the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro this year. The two phones are in competition with Apple’s latest series and the Galaxy S24 series launching early next year. Google Pixel 8 Pro CPU Information Tensor G3 should have exact configuration from previous benchmark listings. The cores on the Tensor G3 are four Cortex-A715 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores, along with a single Cortex X3 core according to earlier leaks we saw . The Geekbench listing of the Pixel 8 Pro showed that the device will feature 12GB RAM. The Pixel 8 Pro will also be the first device to boot Android 14 out of the box. Pixel 8 Pro will get a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display that offers QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device could come with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It is expected to get a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto shooter. According to a recent leak, the Pixel 8 Pro will start at $999 in the US.
