A proper iPad version would finally make the experience smoother and more enjoyable. The report also mentions that Meta is exploring different ways to boost Instagram’s growth, especially with all the uncertainty surrounding TikTok. Over the years, Instagram has given several reasons for not making an iPad app. Back in 2021, Instagram head Adam Mosseri admitted that an iPad app “would be nice to do,” but explained it wasn’t a top priority because “there’s a lot to do and only so many people.” Addressing the subject a year later, Mosseri added, “It’s still just not a big enough group of people to be a priority. Hoping to get to it at some point, but right now we’re very heads down on other things.
